How much does catch-up bookkeeping cost?
Catch-up bookkeeping is usually priced by how many months are missing and how busy those months were: the number of transactions, bank and card accounts, and extras such as payroll or inventory. Answer six questions to get an instant price range and a timeline. There is no judgment about how far behind you are.

Beta pricing: base rates are RAHA Financials' published "starting from" monthly plan prices ($79 Personal, $149 Standard). The volume and complexity multipliers are beta settings. Every quote is confirmed by RAHA after a short review of your accounts.
How is the catch-up price calculated?
The estimate uses RAHA Financials' pricing settings:
- Base rate per month of books: $149 for a business ($79 for personal books). These are RAHA's published starting prices.
- Volume multiplier: Up to 100 transactions / month ×1; 101-300 transactions / month ×1.4; 301-700 transactions / month ×2. Above 700 transactions a month, we give a custom quote.
- Complexity: payroll ×1.15, inventory ×1.2, multiple currencies ×1.15.
- Accounts: 2 bank/card accounts included, then $15 per extra account per month of books.
- Setup: a one-time $150 software setup if you currently use spreadsheets or nothing.
Low estimate = months × base × multipliers + extra accounts + setup. High estimate = low + 20%. Turnaround is about 3 months of books per week, with a minimum of 1 week, starting once we have access to your accounts.

What moves the final price: missing statements, many uncategorised transfers, loans or asset purchases that need schedules, and sales tax or payroll filings that also need catching up.

Frequently asked questions
How far back do I need to catch up my books?
Usually to the start of the earliest tax year you haven't filed, or haven't filed accurately. Lenders, buyers and the IRS may also ask for specific periods, so start with what your next deadline needs.
Can I file my taxes if my books are behind?
You can file an extension to buy time. An extension gives more time to file, not more time to pay. Filing a return from incomplete books risks errors that are harder to fix later, so catching up first is usually the safer route.
What do I need to provide?
Read-only access to (or statements for) every business bank and credit card account for the missing months, plus payroll reports, loan statements and your prior tax return if you have them. Never send passwords or full account numbers by email.
Will you judge me for being years behind?
No. Falling behind is common, especially for owners who are busy running the business. We start from wherever you are.
Is this price final?
No. It is a beta estimate based on RAHA's published starting prices. RAHA confirms every quote after a short review of your accounts.
What happens after the catch-up?
You get reconciled accounts and financial statements for the missing months. Many clients then move to monthly bookkeeping so they don't fall behind again, but that is optional.
